Pros
Working here is generally pretty nice: there's a friendly atmosphere with co-workers that have worked here for 20+ years, decent availability for cross training in other job responsibilities, and visible appreciation from the management. The biggest pro for a non-unioned worker is the really decent health/dental/pto/sick benefits.
Cons
The biggest con is the struggle with budget - people work here for 5+ years with no raise and you can't expect one. Not good if you are looking to forward your career. Also almost every department is understaffed, making the "customer service" side of things a little lacking.
