Pros
While I’m still new and haven’t had the chance to connect with everyone yet, the individuals I have met have been incredibly supportive—always willing to help, share their knowledge, and genuinely invested in the success of others. It’s truly refreshing and speaks volumes about the culture here. There’s a strong sense that we’re all working toward the same mission, and I absolutely love that. I have a deep appreciation for unity, especially when it comes to helping those who truly need it.
Allsup has provided me with an incredible opportunity to grow—to do more, give more, and further embrace my passion for serving others. I also greatly value the environment of transparency, where open communication is encouraged and people feel safe to speak freely.
With the VA side continuing to expand, I genuinely believe this is an excellent time for anyone who is passionate about supporting veterans to join the team. While there will certainly be challenges, there are also significant opportunities for both professional and personal growth, ultimately leading to a deeply fulfilling career.
Cons
Like any growing organization, there are areas where the training process could use some adjustments or additions, but leadership is aware of these opportunities, and I’m confident improvements are on the way. As long as you’re open and honest about your needs, management and other colleagues will truly will go out of their way to ensure you’re given every opportunity to succeed. You just have to want it!
