Pros

Nothing can be co suffered positive here. Owner tried to make up policy on the fly to whatever suits his needs, however, never has anything in writing and can’t constitute as policy.

Cons

Company is broke, cannot stay afloat. They cannot abide by best practices and they cannot be relevant in the merchant services industry. Tiny company with an owner that doesn’t know anything about the industry of today and can not afford to pay employees.

Pros

The only pro to Alpine is a handful (less than 5) people that are pretty great.

Cons

The whole company is severely under paid (except for upper management), the medical/dental/vision benefits are terrible, the vacation and sick time policy is even worse. There is no flexibility- if you are sick you're expected to be there. Sick kids? Not their problem, figure it out (however it's a bit of a hypocritical policy, as the owner is regularly out of the office to take care of his own kids). The owner will go out of his way to work you as hard and as much as he can for as little money as possible. Office supplies that are necessary to do your job are not provided (this is true for the call center workers- they are expected to bring pens and paper from home). The bottom line is that this is not a healthy company. Stay far, far away (and don't be fooled by the positive reviews- the owner routinely asks their employees to leave positive feedback when their reviews get too low).

Policies have been modified and steps have been taken to provide additional value to our employees.
