Where do I begin… Let me just say, this company is very cult-like. You will have no work-life balance. Regardless of how well you’re doing, you will be told that you’re not doing enough. As a store leader, you will be asked to work 60 hours a week and expected to do so or be told that you’re not a great leader. You will have to put this job above everything else in life and that’s the bottom-like. In the beginning, I had great leaders that were very supportive then they left their roles and we were given leaders who were the complete opposite. We were never celebrated for our hard work, and let me tell you we crushed every goal and to achieve goals with this company, you have to go above and BEYOND. So to be constantly told that you and your team are awful with every visit is very discouraging. Before taking this job, I read the Glassdoor reviews and felt maybe people were exaggerating but they absolutely were not. Everyone negative review is true. Expectations change everyday and you are expected to pivot with no rebuttal whatsoever. If you have feedback on something, they will say you’re making excuses. They say they stand out for good but they do not when it comes to their employees. I would say it comes from the top but everyone has a choice in how they treat employees and my direct leaders chose to treat my team and I like we were worthless, so I resigned. The turnover in my district alone is ridiculous. Why is HR not looking into that?! Somehow the store teams are always blamed instead of the district leaders. Everyone should make their own decision when choosing a company to work for so I would just ask, what’s most important to you? Your peace of mind/mental health, loved ones? Or your pay check? And to be honest, the company should be paying MUCH more than what they offer for the stress alone.
