      Pros

      I’ve found Altera to be a genuinely rewarding place to work. The company’s commitment to employee well-being is evident through an internal engagement committee, a wealth of benefits and a collaborative and supportive culture The flexibility, including fully remote work options, and the emphasis on work-life balance make it easier to thrive both professionally and personally. While no workplace is perfect, Altera’s dedication to its people and its mission to elevate healthcare makes it a great place to grow and contribute. I’d recommend it to anyone who values impactful work and a supportive environment.

      Cons

      Internal systems feel a bit antiquated and not as progressive as you’d expect from a tech company, which can occasionally slow down processes. While not bureaucratic, modernising these systems could enhance efficiency.

      Pros

      You are rewarded for working hard and smart. If you want to treat the company as your own and be rewarded for doing so this is a great place to work.

      Cons

      Not for people who just want to collect pay check and go home. Must try to grow to get rewards.

      Pros

      - Remote work offers good work-life balance. - Numerous opportunities to work with other team members and expand knowledge.

      Cons

      - Below-average pay for the industry. - Hard-working employees get more work pushed on them without any pay raises. - Most of the middle management are under qualified and are more interested in protecting themselves rather than their teams. - Executive leadership is clueless. - Company can't keep up with the industry competition because employees with expertise and experience keep leaving for greener pastures. As a result the company keeps bleeding clients year over year with very little long-term prospects.
