Pros

Our office is full of awesome, friendly people that you enjoy seeing everyday. My coworkers are like a second family here. You don't feel intimidated by upper level executives; the COO happens to have a great sense of humor. Management is active in the workplace, and tries to hear everyone's concerns. There is a treat on Fridays (usually lunch or breakfast). The work / life balance is really nice compared to most places. I am able to enjoy my weekends without having to answer tons of emails or calls. There is room for growth and movement if you put your mind to it and talk to your superior about it. Some people have the ability to work remotely if they have the correct internet connection and equipment (CISCO phone and cables). Sometimes it gets stressful, especially when there are lots of outages or lots of service requests coming in. But, there are some days where its quiet and you are able to focus more on reports and not feel pressure. It comes with any job in any industry, so I can't say its a con really.

Cons

No sick days, they come straight out of your PTO. After 1 year, the max amount of PTO is 80 hours, until you have worked there for 5 years, when it goes up to 120 hours. It would be nice if you could have an extra day or two added on your anniversary.

Pros

1. Excellent company culture- coworkers became you friends. I enjoyed going to work everyday and building both personal and professional relationships. 2. Management did whatever they could to fix problems in the work place; Aaron Kennedy had an open door policy, and was always willing to listen to any grievances or problems, and then provide a resolution to satisfy both parties. 3. The work was fast paced and always kept you on your toes. I won't lie, there were some days that left you wondering how the general public functions with technology... But most days we worked hard, joked around, and barely noticed the time going by. 4. Willingness to make improvements where needed- Ben and Aaron help townhall meetings to allow the employees to voice concerns and questions, and listened carefully to everything we had to say. They did a fantastic job at trying to make Altuscio the best place to work. They host team bonding events, provide lunches on Friday, and accommodate working parents as best as possible.

Cons

After the buy out, a lot of the original perks from working at a small company were taken away. Growing pains are expected in an acquisition. The culture changed as well.
