Pros
Work-life balance The only reason they have 2 stars is to give credit to the pockets of people in the company that do truly do their best to make sure people are treated right. However it was few and far in between.
Cons
In the most basic summed up sentence - This company hemorrhages good talent based on decisions from executives and CEO Lack up meaningful salary and raises. - Salary is on the low end of the industry and they have promoted people to supervisor without any increase in pay or explanation as to why. They do not take concerns raised seriously. There is so much detail but unfortunately Glassdoor does not allow anything other than vague statements. Amtrust culture can be highly retaliatory. Unethical business practices that are not addressed until too late. ACAs get denied with no logical explanation Executive management is extremely out of touch and also are not held to the same standards, especially when it comes to accountability. This seemed to stem across most departments. The way they structure things, they actively look for ways to bring down review scores so they do not have to pay as much in bonuses. As opposed to giving the score they deserve and explaining the budget cant give out this many bonuses, they gaslight you about your work and effort. This stems from executive decisions. This is not a company that seems to actually care about its normal day to day employees and there are almost countless examples. I would love to have in depth conversations about how they can turn around the company culture into something better, as I came into this company so bright-eyed and championed them at first, however the only HR rep that seems to care, also left the company. I truly hope they can improve for the employees still there. Other things to note.. Mandatory overtime was forced on weekends for no logical reason. Audit Department no longer gets many of the extra paid days off that the rest of the company does. They are currently moving headquarters about 30 miles away but not offering any further remote opportunities from what I have been told.
