Pros

Benefits are decent. PPO option, but High Deductible Plan is pushed. Healthly lifestyle program provides med coverage discounts. FMLA (limited). Dental and Vision are OK. Vacation is Average. Several 'Company' holidays (in actuality they are observed Jewish religious holidays. Likely to accommodate the NY HQ office).

Cons

Company recently went Private (2019). There is NO clarity or communication between management, upper management, or departments on direction, procedures, or decisions. Company 'values' are laughable. You are completely disposable. Very Little to NO opportunity for advancement. NO merit increases worth mentioning. Management is VERY politicized. Little transparency on company decisions or changes. If any communication is sent, it is generic fluff. CEO is a posh figurehead.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Great co-workers. My co-workers are friendly, easy to talk to and are willing to help you if they are able to.

Cons

Systems can give you issues at times and make it difficult to get work done.

Pros

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
