AmTrust Financial has serious issues: especially within the Trucking/APD, Bodily Injury (BI), and General Liability (GL) depts. The company lacks adequate training(what training??) leaving employees to fend for themselves with limited support or resources. Upper management, particularly those in claims, often lack both empathy and the actual claims knowledge needed to effectively lead their teams.
The environment is toxic—management can be condescending, frequently treating employees poorly and disregarding their concerns. The salary "increase" was insulting for those few employees that exceeded expectations (less than inflation). The claim system is from the prehistoric and crashes multiple times a day, which leads to frustration and burnout among staff. Overall, it feels like a hostile environment with little respect for the adjusters and insufficient guidance on how to succeed in their role.
