Pros
Big Company, Good Experience, ability to make an impact at the plant level
Cons
Politics, Politics, Politics do not accept a job here unless you are willing to dive into the office politics. There are people here that will take advantage of you every way possible. Upper management rewards this and participates in this especially in the Ann Arbor office. Don't think the leadership in Manchester is any different though. They will use you and promote their favorites just as quickly as leadership in Ann Arbor. The main problem with this company outside of politics is upper managements inability to listen to any ideas that are not their own. You have to let upper management steal your idea and take credit for it in order to get it done. This is the most frustrating part of working at this company outside of the outdated systems, computers, technology in general and operations model. This stems from upper management being unwilling to change with the time. This company does not and will not think more than two years ahead meaning they will eventually be caught behind the times.
