Pros

37.5 hour work weeks. Lots of PTO. Benefits are good. Able to flex time if needed. Busy environment so days fly by. Company encourages continuing education by providing tuition reimbursement. Many festivities throughout the year to show employee appreciation.

Cons

Pay isn't that great. Promotions are hard to come by yet officers are constantly promoted. Dedicated, motivated employees are often over looked. Some management personnel clearly aren't management material and lack the responsibility of keeping employee-manager conversations confidential. The performance evaluations are a joke. Don't ever expect an increase more than the budgeted %. Management even tells deserving employees they deserve more but can't get it without it being taking away from another employee. So basically, everyone is always "average".

Pros

The company offers valuable insurance education opportunities and a tuition reimbursement program that supports professional development.

Cons

There is little incentive for long-term loyalty. Compensation appears to be based on legacy pay structures, resulting in new hires sometimes receiving higher starting salaries than long-tenured employees with extensive institutional knowledge and expertise in company processes.
