Pros

The people I worked with were by far the most enjoyable part of working here. There are so many dedicated, hard working, intelligent, caring and innovative people at this company. Within that core group there was a strong family dynamic and a flexible working schedule which made the day to day grind enjoyable for the most part. Decent pay, spacious office space, up to date computer technology, opportunities to travel on occasion, ability to work remotely.

Cons

Anyone with half a wit is so bogged down with so many responsibilities carrying the weight of negligent or lazy employees. Most tire of the constant stress, ever increasing expectations, lack of trust or respect and the endless workload and ultimately quit, leaving the team worse off and more inexperienced. It has been a revolving door lately of hiring/quitting. Management is a HUGE driving factor behind this, they are completely out of touch with reality and the day to day happenings of the "worker bees" constantly chasing the next shiny object or obsessively focusing on what industry competitors are doing. It seems they buy out additional companies frequently to become a bigger industry leader with more capabilities to offer, but do not look introspectively at the ongoing issues at hand or the workforce available to sustain the projected new growth. In addition, customer needs and standard market demands are surprisingly also ignored. Bigger is not always better when you can't support the load or maintain key accounts. The trickle down effect of this behavior tends to kill employee morale or any lingering company culture. As I mentioned above the small core group culture was strong, but overall as a whole it was lacking significantly. There was terrible disengagement between each plant, behavior as if they were pitted against each other in a bizarre sort of war. Attitudes are left unchecked and there is no accountability for outbursts, rude language or unprofessionally lashing out at peers. Management completely ignores employees who bring up opportunities for improvement or voice frustration, which leaves you feeling powerless in a dead end job. More often than not, you do not feel like a valued, relevant member of the team.

Cons

The Culture of the company is very egotistical and the structure is in a buddy system style. They are owned by holding company so they laid a large amount of people off and cut corners to look more profitable putting lipstick on the pig as some may say. Safety is preached but not practiced.
