Not a place to learn or apply new technologies. The potential to bring in new tech, new ideas, new anything is nil. Very much driven by the P&L which leads to little or no investment in capital. Any investment would impact the exorbitant bonuses offered ONLY to upper management.
There is also a lack of connection between departments - everyone seems to have their own goals, but they don't all align - so, communication is extremely difficult & strained. And, there is absolutely no communication from the top down - no engagement, no recognition and little interaction between the 'upstairs' and 'downstairs' employees.
No defined core values, vision or mission statements.
Extremely low 'merit' raises that are not connected to goals - primarily budgetary related.
LOTS of paper & no method of organizing the 'paper'.
Are more inclined to outsource production than improve production. This is due to lack of any sort of organizational/employee development strategy.
