Pros

Easy if operators perform at 60 percent or higher.

Cons

Ran like a slum. They hire temps and use and abuse them and then just bring new ones in non stop. They will use anyone and then lay them off for "business purposes".

Pros

At all levels throughout the organization, hard work and a willingness to learn is rewarded. Anchor believes in developing associates from within the organization to fill key roles. For example, all the Weld Techs are homegrown, started as operators and through hard work and a willingness to learn, became Techs. Anchor Management strongly believes in promoting from within. Your pay will equal your skill level. All the Manufacturing Managers, including the Plant Manager, worked their way up through the organization. All started in hourly positions from Machine Operators to Tool Makers. Steady work hours for supervisors - 45 hour work week, limited to zero weekends. Career Paths available for all associates. Excellent ownership, Fred is very accessible and meets with all associates, at least monthly. Medical Benefits are better than industry average.

Cons

Training program for new hires can be improved. No overtime available for supervisors
