Pros
Most of the support staff tucked neatly away in the basement, like Downton Abbey. Excellent location in a building that’s like stepping into 1975, in every way possible. IT and Facilities staff were not only amazing but also supportive.
Cons
Bullying is actively encouraged, nothing is ever good enough. staff turnover is actually massive across all departments, low pay and benefits compared to all other legal firms across Edinburgh both big and small. I was left and still am traumatised, tearful and stressed after 8 years when handing in my notice to a company I was very loyal to and then just got ignored from then on in. Absolutely terrible management from the top down, but then found out that actually once I started elsewhere they are not the norm, they are the exception.
