If you are good at what you do, and have two years before you make anything, then the opportunity might be yours if the MD offers you the position.

Pros

Excellent opportunity for the resume.

Cons

Lots of time working for free. (As in ZERO income, only expenses) The owner does not understand what a contractor and employee means. He demands NDAs and a long extensive Non-compete. 1099? Really? He claims buying others' research becomes his proprietary research. HA! Anyone can buy Discovery Database research. Non-compete?! as a 1099? No Consideration was given to doing that. He has gone through so many DIRECTORS to classify as a class action lawsuit. If a new opportunity presents itself, he will take it, rather than send it out to others. If you want a fun time, go to your interview, and at lunch watch him eat. See how he treats the waitstaff talking with his mouth full. That is the experience. Glad I am not there. Hard PASS! Don't be a sucker.

The above review was written by a disgruntled individual with whom our firm decided to disassociate due to low performance. It includes multiple false statements that the reviewer knows to be false. The reviewer was compensated over $230,000 by our firm - and yet claims to have been compensated zero. That assertion would not likely be accepted by the IRS. The reviewer also claims our firm purchases its research, and this is again false. Our proprietary research is executed by multiple Research Analysts that utilize an array of databases - some of which are private and some of which are in the public domain - to develop our own research. This individual apparently did not understand our research methodology after over 2 years of association with our firm, which is particularly difficult to comprehend, but it is indicative relative to why we had to part ways. In addition, our firm operates on a national basis and we consequently receive a substantial amount of unsolicited opportunities which are shared with our Directors - including the reviewer prior to our decision to disassociate. The reviewer went on to another firm, and that firm subsequently attempted to solicit support from our firm. The other reviews here on Glassdoor.com were unsolicited, but voluntarily written by individuals who continue to be successfully associated with our firm and are enjoying the Quality of Life (QOL) proposition it delivers.
