With recent changes, we are taking more calls during the day, with shorter times between calls. This is mentally draining. You could have 150+ calls a day, and only get 1.30 between calls. We are not encouraged to take that full 1.30 minute, but to dispo calls quickly and return to que.
It it exhausting. burn out is real. I love my job, but don't love the guidelines we are expected to work. We are not robots, but real people. We give our best to our customers on each call.. and it's a lot. It would be nice if we had more "away" time to where we can get up and use the restroom, and refill our drink more than 2x times a day.
only 10 mins a day for away time is not enough.
