Base pay is horrific, if you don't hit bonus it is very hard to make a living. Most managers have no idea what they are doing. Most have never been managers before and don't know how to lead or coach. In this particular department it is a bit of an old boys club. The majority of the managers got their positions because they knew someone who was also a manager. Since they have no idea how to properly manage a team they are vindictive and force out good reps just because they don't like them. Manager's have too much control over your ability to make money. Argue with your manager one time and they can just change your sales territory, just like that! They don't have to have a valid reason, just because and your pay is cut in half!
