Enjoyed the diversity of assignments when I first started.

Company was fined for violation of the BC Employment Standards Act due to not following minimum standards of employment. Post-employment also included inappropriate contact. Do not recommend.

I worked with AngusOne for 3.5 years as a recruitment consultant in the permanent placement division and reported to Karen Fraser. Before I started with AngusOne, I was struggling to find the right fit and an employer that believed in me. I had been referred to Karen as a candidate by a top HR consultant. Karen was described to me as being one of the best recruiters in the city and an expert in her field. Karen was exactly how she was described to me and more! She saw something in me that I did not see in myself. True to her word, 6 months after we met, she hired me, During my years with the company, I found her to be a genuine, caring, and inspirational leader. Karen mentored and supported my professional growth, and became much more than a manager, but a true friend. She supported and encouraged me to complete my CPHR designation, helped me manage challenging situations, and never forgot to remember the little things that made a bight day. We were a close and tight team and worked hard to help our clients find their ideal candidates. Karen taught me about value-based recruitment and how to build lasting relationships with even the most challenging people. She also taught me how to lead with kindness and care. My own leadership style is a reflection of my lessons from Karen. After I left AngusOne, I was able to work on the other side of the table as a client of recruitment agencies. AngusOne is by far the best for candidates and clients. It is an agency that actually cares about the success of your job search or your business.
