Owned by an investment organization. Very little money is spent on investing in the business and people. The technology isn't up-to-date, no professional development for the employees, and not enough people to support work activities. Management (all levels) does not recognize the contributions and sacrifices that the staff routinely makes for the organization. Management style - decidedly "50s" style - micromanagement, bossing employees, lack of collaboration, treating employees as liabilities and not assets. I am surprised by the lack of basic business communication skills from some of the managers and leaders. The annual performance review process is a joke. The raises are appallingly low.
