Pros
Apply Digital is truly a place where culture matters. Companies that actually value people (their growth and well-being) are truly rare these days. I have been working at Apply Digital for over a year and been on various projects. There hasn't been any team member that I have not had the joy to interact and work with. Everyone is very friendly, approachable, and talented. I learn on a daily basis and feel empowered to do my work and get the opportunity to empower others. The sense of community is very strong and even though most of the time, it's a virtual work environment, the People Operations team puts on many events that help network and socialize. There are weekly company meetings that help you learn about what's happening on other projects, teams and in the company in general. I have made many friends through the office environment and even the people I work with. I don't hesitate to refer others to work here and there's always a smile on my face when I talk about the work I do here.
Cons
No company will ever be perfect. There are always growing pains and areas of improvement. The important thing is that when you voice a concern, it is taken seriously and addressed. Sometimes, there are other factors at play and it takes time to create changes. There are also clients that are difficult and demand a lot, whereas others are more lax and easy-going. This creates an unfair balance for the working team members. There is a real effort in trying to compensate (financially and with lieu time), but it's always difficult to ask and be asked to do overtime/weekend work.
