As an IT support function, I should be having few common access such as of AD. Like to delete domain joined machines or to join machines to domain. But no such basic access was granted. Even while taking care of access provisioning I was dependant on other senior people who do not take other's work seriously. No improvement even after multiple written requests.
Performance bonus goals were not assigned depending upon individual expertise or requests. Even if a goal requires an elevated access, it is not given.
Dirty politics is played by sycophant people within team
No tie-up with any learning platform
Almost no IJP for technical person
Since higher management is in Canada. Canadian people are given preference over everything.
There is a lot to be done to improve security of the data like blocking of USB. But even after a complete year I could not convince the management to initiate a simple script though our MDM platform.
There are meetings after office hours which are so called non mandatory but you will be reminded of missing these meetings after a few days. On top of it weekend on-call support will destroy your work life balance
If you are unmarried, you can survive this but if you are married and have plans at weekends then your life is hell.
On one hand management says we are not rigid about our office timings and 10-15 mins of late login is fine and we are not tracking it even we do not have a login logout software but in reality IT team daily pulls out a report about when exactly a laptop is getting connected to office network.
HR do not show any data behind any termination of employee. Even the reason mentioned in the termination letter is not there in the offer letter.
HR will support the after office meetings and the weekend on-calls by referring to the Indian labour law that according to that we can ask our employee to work 10 hours a day for 6 days but on the other hand are not following it by not providing a valid termination letter and also a clause of Indian labour law according to which in an event of bulk termination(100 or more) a compensation of 3 months to be given. Which cannot be proved because you manipulate people to resign.
