Pros
Strict processes make for smooth project handling and mistake-free communications. Many staff really nice, but perhaps because you come together to share your disdain.
Cons
Not interested in investing in junior members of staff. The view is that juniors have nothing valuable to say. You pretty much end up stagnant and not growing. You could work 12 hour days for weeks working up to a tight deadline, get no recognition and still get raised eye brows and a 'casual' talk from HR about arriving at 9:15. As I was at the beginning of my career, being not long out of University, I had nothing to compare A6 to and I genuinely thought this was just a reality of working in marketing, and considered retraining. Thankfully, this was not the case.
