Pros
- They pay fairly, even slightly above market wage - Friendly colleagues - Good offices with nice amenities - Flexible WFH policy - Excellent team leads
Cons
- Individualistic culture, people work for themselves. - Almost no processes in place, every day we reinvent the wheel - Only focus on short-term and making money now. Zero vision or innovation. Extremely old processes and systems. - The few processes that exist are more often not followed than they are. Everyone looks for the quickest way to get their own thing done, without considering the bigger picture. - It's a consultancy firm that masquerades as a product company. There is no vision. Everything we do is build on demand and ad hoc development. Working on projects can only be described as messy. - No one is aware of the extent of their decision-making power, so everything ends up being run by few people at the top. Management is far too involved in operational, day-to-day stuff. - Team leads are great but are too often either overruled by upper management or become a victim of the chaos at the company. - There's a hidden dissatisfaction amongst everyone in the company but people are scared to criticize. Office gossip is always about how counterproductive things are, how people are frustrated with how things are going, yet engagement surveys show overall high scores. - The company is small so there are little growth opportunities outside salary increases.
