Pros

ArcBest had values, cared about employees and was a good organization to work for. Doesn’t speak well to ArcBest values

Cons

ArcBest purchased Molo and allowed Molo executives to manage business. Employees were moved to Molo and compensation and bonus structure was changed without regard to how it impacted employees families. Told that it’s a new way to operate and if you don’t like it you can leave. Many employees worked years to develop cross sell business which helped all the ArcBest companies but Molo management doesn’t care about ArcBest they only care about growing their truckload business so they can get big bonuses. Cross sell comp cut to Pennie’s while company takes a 2% of gross for management costs prior to anyone being paid variable comp. Molo staff untrained and most don’t have much experience in transportation, don’t know how to problem solve. Upper management unskilled at communicating with employees and act like they are just shooting from hip on major decisions that affect people’s lives.
