Pros
-Not much that I can think of
Cons
The trust has created a robotic culture within the school. Lessons are created by the trust and must be delivered like a script, lessons have to include ridiculous formats and are very corporate. Teachers are expected to follow the same structure every lesson (retrieval starter, seating plans, equipment checks, modelling, questioning, review, connect, practice, instruct, review etc.) with very little flexibility. No autonomy whatsoever.
Tick-box culture where compliance often matters more than actual learning. Lessons can feel repetitive and disconnected from the needs of different classes or subjects.
Leaders were very unpleasant
Student behaviour was absolutely shocking yet there was no robust system to counter this (also lessons were pitched very low, which likely contributes to behaviour issues too)
