      Pros

      It’s a paycheck and something to put on your resume.

      Cons

      Work seven days a week 10-12 hour days, Salary doesn’t get paid time and half. The Union is the worst I’ve ever seen, it’s what I would picture the 1950’s mafia to be like. Management (at least in Extrusion) is ran by an incompetent bully, whom does not go to bat for his Supervisors.

      Aluminum manufacturing provides exciting and challenging opportunities to test and reward engineers for all disciplines. You will never stop learning; life will never be mundane.

      Cons

      Unexpected equipment failures will happen at the worst possible time, Time and effort is required to recover back to full production.
