Pros

The client list is fantastic and will help your resume stand out. If you have a self-motivated and -driven disposition, then you'll do well. If you want to do great, creative, innovative work, it's totally possible, but it's on you to see it happen. New ideas are encouraged and supported. Monthly parties and birthday events are fun for taking a break and socializing with colleagues. Very casual atmosphere. The staff is open and friendly.

Cons

While you can definitely come up with incredible tech and creative ideas, don't expect a lot of infrastructural support in accomplishing your goals. Management doesn't have the technical know-how to innovate and is unwilling to invest in the right people to do the job. The processes that govern the organization are loose, disorganized, and unclear. The hierarchy in the company is a tangled mess, with almost every manager overlapping each other in responsibility, including the CEO, which means you're often wondering who's actually in charge. Don't expect to grow in your role. Training is sparse, with the company relying on a "learn it yourself" model. Very few opportunities to attend learning workshops. Salaries seem to below market rate, and the benefits are mediocre at best, which means very few talented people remain for long, leaving only a collective group of timecard punchers. The company doesn't seem to know exactly where it's going, as many big-picture ideas were formed during my time, only to die on the vine.

Pros

I've been working at Aristotle since Dec. 1999 and have found it to be a continually supportive and engaging work environment with equal opportunities for everyone. It is a family-friendly woman-owned and operated business that highly values employee input. I would recommend Aristotle to anyone interested in working in a creative/technical agency environment.

Cons

I can't think of anything bad about working at Aristotle. It is the best place to work in Little Rock.

Pros

The projects are challenging and client roster includes some top-tier names. There is a lot of camaraderie among the line-level employees and most everyone is willing to take time out of their day to assist or train you on new concepts. Work/life balance is good with not a lot of nights or weekends unless your projects are behind. They are lenient on your work schedule, depending on your role.

Cons

There is a serious lack of process that creates a long list of cons. It seems like every project becomes a fire drill because another team dropped the ball or someone missed something in the requirements gathering. For being a web development company, they always seem to be behind the curve in terms of the latest techniques or trends. There always seemed to be lots of talk and no action on improving that process. Salaries seemed to on the low end for production/account people and very low for developers/designers. The bonuses for good performances used to be fair to good then they slowly dried up. The management structure is very loose and it's unclear on who is accountable when things go wrong. Expect to be thrown under the bus if a project is taking a lot of heat for being late or over budget.
