-Unqualified personnel leading operations and maintenance/i&e dept. -Rather promote a partially qualified individual and cause more work on downstream than hire someone truly qualified -Turnover has grown tremendously in last couple years -Starting pay too low across the board to find good new hires -Nearly impossible to fire, leads to subpar workers being there a life time and others expected to pick up the slack -Understaffed in production Overstaffed upward -Doesn’t spend enough to actually maintain each unit like it needs to be -No real training program
