- People can disappear over the weekend - There have been layoffs every quarter in 2023, sometimes more than once. We've lost some really great people because of bad planning from executives - Pretty much all of the engineer managers have turned over in the last year. - Tone deaf executives. Especially the CEO - Pay is below market for engineer roles below staff level - Convoluted and overly verbose career advancement system. - Conflicting messages from senior leadership team. Frequently asking people to do more with less, while saying they won't ask people exactly that. - Health care benefits exist, but they are not great quality. Have to consistently look up the doctors that actually take our current healthcare provider.
