Cons
Because the company is young & growing quickly, there are a lot of things that still need to be ironed out. Some of these have seen improvement:
- The founders say they have an "open policy", but sometimes seem to disregard critique or general consensus. I have noticed they are working to improve this.
- Not really a work-hard, play-hard culture. There are some in-office social gatherings here and there, otherwise it doesn’t really fit the bill.
- Could use better healthcare options
- Still needs better communication when it comes to new dates/deadlines. Dates are almost always changing and teams are not always on the same page.
- Even small policies are an uphill battle. For example, employees had to push for a Work From Home/PTO policy to be put in place.
