Pros
There are a lot of good people who work here. They are very smart and are always willing to help and share their knowledge. For a small company, Aspirent has an impressive roster of clients, which is a testament to the quality of people who work there. Unlimited PTO is nice.
Cons
The management is absolutely horrendous. The executive team is comprised of a bunch of angry white males who would screw their mothers over to make a buck. Anytime the executive team comes from a Big 4 background or touts that they have Big 4 experience, run for the hills. That basically means that you will be worked to the bone with no regard for your personal well-being. The people who do well here are those who are machines and work around the clock. I have heard the execs joke on multiple occasions about having people work 50-60 hour weeks on multiple projects. They talk about it so nonchalantly. On top of that, they’re hiring people in droves with no clue on how to best utilize and develop them. They’re basically bringing in warm bodies to satisfy the growth directives that the private equity firm has set forth. Lastly, the whole career development and mentorship process is a joke. They make grand promises about coaching and career planning, but the management team could care less about that. They’re all hanging around and waiting for the company to get sold and cash out.
