Pros

PTO and being able to work remotely.

Cons

AB has no issue letting people go and what is even more hilarious - upper management makes the decision. The direct supervisors are not involved/consulted. You would think - when business is slow and people have to be let go - it would be the weakest link. That's why you show up, work hard and do a good job. That is NOT the case. I can say with 100% certainty I was let go based on my pay. I was making too much money, but I paid my dues and worked hard over the years to get to that point. However, AB does not care. They prefer to keep people who do not show up for work and makes mistakes because they are paid less. No sick days and no errors do not matter. It's all about the money. They say people are important, but I've never found that to be true. The CEO is like a used car salesman and the H.R. Dept is terrible. If you want to work for a company that does NOT value it's employes - this is the place for you!

Pros

I worked in the IT department and felt that everyone was quite willing to help me out whenever necessary. I think they generally do a good job with culture, respecting PTO, and being flexible with appointments.

Cons

Making any changes can be a pain, there are many steps and approvals to get through before you can do anything substantial, this is a bank so security is prioritized heavily, so it makes sense but it is still cumbersome to work through

Pros

Great culture! Company focuses on supporting work/life balance and offers an excellent wellness program. Flexibility offered through option to work hybrid (available for some positions only). Management and executives are down to earth and genuinely care about the employees. Great CRGs for a variety of interests. Care and desire to help local communities. Most employees are super friendly, kind and professional

Cons

As is typical for most big companies, decisions are often made without involving the people who are impacted by the outcomes, and the change is not always easy/the outcome desirable. Some processes are inefficient, systems outdated,
