Pros

The residents are amazing and I absolutely loved seeing them. Connections and bonds you make with the residents and hearing their stories. Sharing your moments with them (picks of your children, wedding day, etc) Most residents are very thoughtful and understanding.

Cons

Short staffed - until now. Business director is rude and pushy/all about sales not the residents. Might I have forgotten to add, she's a liar. Sales director refers to residents with slight mental disabilities as whack jobs. Community director isn't as involved as you'd think a community director would be, rarely interacts with her community of residents. .

Pros

The only part of the job I actually miss are the residents and I met some nice co workers as well.

Cons

The turnover rate at this place was actually insane. In the year I worked there I saw many people come in and not even make it through training, which was understandable. Caregivers were not treated like humans, you'd constantly be overworked and micromanaged by other departments. You will get sick constantly because of the negligence of upper management failing to protect your health as a caregiver. Your health is worth more than the pay they offer which is probably less than McDonalds. There are more cons but I'll leave it at that.
