Pros
There are some employees who are genuine and great to work with. It's downtown and close to the train and there are lots of options for lunch - I had many friends who worked downtown and it was nice to be able to see them during lunch breaks. They were understanding about appointments and stuff and if you had a commitment it wasn't a problem.
Cons
There is nowhere to move up in the company. I asked during my time there to move into another area of the company and expand my expertise and they acted open to it but nothing ever came of it; others had tried with the same outcome as well. There is no structure, no management. There are workers and partners and that's all. The Vancouver office workers are treated far better than the Edmonton employees. During my interview I was told there were bonuses and raises and I received none in the time I was there (over a year). They really just expected more out of me without giving anything back. There are also "favourite" employees for sure like the other review said. I saw one of the BAs who worked there do a better job than one of the favourites but because she didn't know the partners from the IBM days she knew she'd never move up. They pay people straight out of university more than experienced employees - all of the management are asian so you have a better chance of this if you are too. There is no policy for employees but there's no equality either. Management operates under the premise that they can make decisions without transparency or reason and change their mind whenever they want.
