Pros
A beautiful campus to work on, and the content the Augustine Institute makes is top-tier. Benefits and compensation are middle-of-the-road.
Cons
There is an internal culture of dishonesty and a lack of trust, with everyone looking out only for themselves and no sense of team or collaboration for the betterment of the whole. This lack of honesty flows into conversations with customers through dishonest sales practices.
There were recent layoffs within multiple departments. Those who were laid off were done so in very inhumane ways, with no warning, no explanation for why, and minimal time to transition out of their role.
I have been with the company for nearly a decade. The culture used to be a rock-solid foundation and a great example of a non-profit ministry. In the last few years, that rock-solid culture has plummeted, and the company is only a non-profit for tax purposes. The bottom line used to be people and mission; now it's dollars and cents. The people they once cared deeply about are now in the way of their bottom line.
