I feel like I have a clear expectation of what I need to do in my role, and what I'd need to do to get promoted to the next level

We're a quickly growing startup, so there's no shortage of work. It can feel really busy at times — especially because there's sometimes a lag between workload increasing and getting a new hire started/ramped up
