Job stability is poor — restructures are common and redundancies seem to happen regularly. Advancement opportunities feel limited unless you’re already part of the inner circle. Flexible arrangements have become increasingly restrictive. Short-term overseas remote work, which was previously permitted, is now prohibited under the justification of “security concerns.”

Good people and environment, decent benefits. Work is meaningful in that there's sovereignty connected to it and benefits for Aussie SMB's in particular.

Glass ceiling, slow to adapt and innovate, stuffy corporate bs, very old school ways of doing things in many respects. Not enabled or empowered to experiment & innovate.
