Healthcare is a complex industry, and Availity works with Payers and Providers to solve some challenging problems. As you can imagine, training is also challenging, especially for associates that are new to healthcare. This feedback is constructive, as we are a continuous improvement organization. While we are sorry to hear that your training experience has been lacking depth, we encourage you to share your ideas for improving our training with your manager or HR Business Partner so that we can make adjustments.
Availity is a fail-fast organization that embraces new ideas for innovation; however, “winging it” is not part of our standards. In some areas, we evaluate quantity metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in technology and service. Providing high-quality technology and service is imperative to our success as we use New Promoter Scores (NPS) from our clients to evaluate our organizational performance—and everyone is accountable for this success. If you find yourself sacrificing quality for quantity, please share that with your manager to see if you can identify areas for improvement together.
