Pros

- Gave me good opportunities to advance my career in multiple areas of the business - There are many smart people and tight-knit teams left at Avaya - Some of my managers were truly amazing and supportive - Good products - Decent pay, benefits got better after exiting Ch11

Cons

- Declining revenues which they're struggling to reverse - Culture is zapped, people are mentally exhausted and over it - The company is always looking for ways to cut headcount and have been heavily targeting the US as they've been unable to move the needle in Europe at all - The Sales Org has a few shleps who have no business running large accounts. Some will stifle your natural career progression to protect their own jobs once it's clear that you're better than them - Dishonest and deceiving HR practices - Micromanagement from some managers

Pros

The company used to care about customers, but they removed all the sales people who actually visited and consulted with customers to save travel cost.

Cons

The company's newest CEO, Patrick, only cares about getting back to a Cybersecurity company as fast as possible. Can't sell the company fast enough, but buyers can't get past due diligence periods.
