Pros

There were some opportunities for upward mobility and professional growth. However, promotions generally came with significantly more responsibility and only minimal increases in compensation.

Cons

Management problems exist from the top down. Leadership is often stubborn, disconnected from the realities employees face, and more focused on internal politics and checking boxes than developing meaningful, scalable solutions. Endless bottlenecks, unnecessary red tape, and slow decision-making make it extremely difficult to do your job effectively. Nearly everything feels politicized, and the culture can leave employees feeling like they are constantly walking on eggshells. The company also relies heavily on tribal knowledge. Processes and technical designs are frequently undocumented, forcing employees to track down the right person just to understand how something works. This creates confusion, slows down delivery, and makes onboarding and knowledge transfer unnecessarily difficult. Work-life balance was virtually nonexistent in my experience. I was frequently expected to be on call and was repeatedly woken up around 3 a.m. to address P1 production issues. The added stress and responsibility were not reflected in the compensation or support provided.

Pros

Some genuinely kind and hardworking people. Team members that are helpful and willing to assist. Remote work available. Matching 401k.

Cons

Below market pay. A politically charged climate where promotions are based on favoritism and loyalty rather than real work ethic, skills, or talent. Many long-term team members who just phone it in requiring others to pick up the slack. Outdated software. Lack of transparency. Disorganized.
