COVID-19 response is completely irresponsible. All employees forced to work in office despite being completely capable of working from home.
"Spyware" installed on all computers that take screenshots and monitor keyboard and mouse movement. This was so unpopular that there was actually a Bloomberg article written about it, using Axos as the primary example of a company that implemented it.
When working from home, required to do a daily planner to "prove" you were being productive.
When promoted, raises promised only after one year in new position. For everyone I know that was promoted, including myself, the raise did not come after a year despite very positive performance review. This was true for at least 8 other people I know that worked there (out of an office of approximately 40 people).
Bonuses are split 50% pay and company stock. Stock doesn't vest until after 3 years. This is EACH TIME a bonus is given, not 3 years of service. Unless you plan to work here for a long time (and most people leave before their 3rd year) this stock is almost worthless unless you have a very high salary.
Also, it's very likely your bonus will be the same percentage across an entire team despite the high performers propping up the low performers. This shows that bonuses are not actually based on merit.
Pay is lower than industry average regardless of the position held.
