Pros
- Flexible hours, no clocking in/out required - Decent pay for junior staff - Because there is hardly any work, you can leave office on time most days - You will have a lot of time on your hands to do self-learning - Casual dress code, unless need to meet clients/partners - Office located in KL Sentral, very convenient to get there, food choices are abundant - Opportunity to work with high-profile clients and projects - Opportunity to gain exposure to different technology stacks (only very surface level, unless it's a long term engagement with certain clients)
Cons
- Benefits are sub-par for the industry (No optical benefits , no parking allowance / travel allowance) - High turnover rate, good staff are leaving faster than the company can replace them - Due to shortage of staff, technical managers were asked to do a lot of sales work too. Some of them resign because of this. - Still using outdated technology but claiming to know big data (to be fair, it's partly because that's what clients want, most clients are not actually prepared for real big data technologies anyway) - Not much emphasis on culture or fun activities together as a company.
