Pros

As is usually the case, there are many talented people who work at Azra, but unfortunately talent alone can’t make a great game, or create a healthy work environment.

Cons

Do you want to work at a company or play a game that objectifies woman, promotes violence and is just a poorly made knockoff? Maybe Azra Games and Ungodly is for you then? Having worked there, I can tell you the culture is toxic, where people instead of working together, wind up at each others throats. A company reflects its leadership. IMO, the Leadership cares for nothing but lining their own pockets. IMO, Leadership cares nothing for the their employees, and that’s exactly why Azra Games is such an awful place to work.

Pros

- Some of the most challenging and stimulating work of my career - Refreshing to work in an environment where we don't settle for good enough - Leadership has an ability to raise capital in a way I've never seen before - The first time in my career I'm building a game that I want to play every day

Cons

- Typical chaotic startup environment - If you need certainty and predictability, it's not a good fit for you - Hybrid environment where about half the company is remote -- sometimes if you work in Sacramento with the same people it can be easy to collaborate but when you work on new strike teams frequently it can be hard to get everyone in the same call and make decisions as quickly as we need to

Pros

Lunch paid for. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

All hype no follow through. No rewards for long hours. Lots of turn around and no help with advancement.
