Pros
Paid overtime, although I'm not entirely sure I would consider that a pro because the amount of overtime they make you work will destroy your health and sense of personhood.
Cons
This was the most militaristic, soulless, old boys club, heartless place I have ever worked. Never once did I feel like I was respected at this company or treated like a human being. The principals of this company have a diluted sense of superiority and treat underlings like something that got stuck to the bottom of their shoe (although to be fair, a small handful were nice). There was no respect for your team or specialized skill set. You were just a janitor there to clean up messes and a gopher to do their bidding - no matter what time of day, weekend, holiday weekend - it didn't matter. My department - marketing - was managed so poorly, with zero strategy or strong leadership. My portfolio suffered so much while I worked here because I produced no work of creative value. A lot of the time I felt like I was a personal assistant. While I worked at B+H, my health suffered greatly because I was under such constant stress and made to feel like I was worthless. I, along with my teammates, were regularly berated publicly by senior principals, yelled at, sworn at, and humiliated. All of course which would never be addressed by management... because the people who were publicly shaming you owned the company. Now that I am working at a job that I absolutely love, I sometimes still feel like I am recovering from the way I was made to feel at B+H. Please, I beg you, do not work here.
