Pros
A good place to start your career Large variety of projects
Cons
Graduates seemed to be hired without consideration of what role they'll actually do, I ended up having no direction / manager for the first few days at the company and now find myself in a role that does not really fit my skillset and in a team that doesn't seem to be enjoying themselves. Morale is very low and it seems that every task I undertake, is arbitrarily slowed down by out-dated processes that suck any sense of satisfaction out of the job I'm doing. I don't get why it seems that I have to relentlessly pester to get absolutely anything done, I get that people are busy but there is still a lingering culture of ignoring new starters even when the work they are doing clearly demands attention. The sale of F35, even if indirectly to Israel is extremely hard, if not impossible to justify as the war progresses and I've found myself circling around the ethical dilemma more than ever before.
