Its one of the best places to work in the Federal Government. Salaries are good, other benefits even better. People are very nice and everyone loves to work there. Most people have an honest interest in the countries development and fell proud to be working in the financial entity that allows infrastructure to be developed.

It is still subject to politics. In the Mexican context, this means that some people may get a job because of his/her connections and not his/her expertise. Likewise, some people may move to another government positions relatively quick and not care about the job left behind. The "chapulines" problem of Mexican government.

Unfortunately, with PRI, pure corrupt people have been in the upper and senior management, and many un-qualified candidtes have been put all over the bank due to nepotism and agency issues. This has rendered many people unhappy, specially those who had been hard-working in the time and by the time of PRI in national government came in were waiting for a well-earned promotion.
