Thank-you for your candid constructive comments. It’s unfortunate you felt this way about your time and experience at BC Tech.
2017 was a year of transition and lots of change. It appears you experienced a very different team and we’re truly sorry that the dynamic you experienced was less than ideal.
Accountability is something that matters a lot to us, and is essential to a well functioning team. It’s why we have clear, quantifiable goals in place that we all work towards and talk about as a group. If we are not tracking to a specific goal, then we gather as a team and brainstorm ideas to close that gap vs. leaders taking credit for work or blaming team members when things are not on plan.
If you're curious to see the changes we've made, I would encourage you to reach out to any team member or come by the Innovation Hub and observe the dynamic. We’ve worked hard to cultivate a culture of trust, openness, and honesty, and do our best to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. In November 2017, we conducted a team engagement NPS survey (on a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend BC Tech to a friend) where we rated a 44/50, which is a very strong score.
