Pros
+ Exposure to all different kind of engagements and industries. + Working with professionals from all backgrounds. + Responsibility to work autonomously from management and flexibility in shift start/end times. + Opportunity to work with other member offices around the world. + Regular staff events and private functions.
Cons
- Work/Life Balance can be easily interrupted by overbearing managers. - Performance measurement is loosely based on job description. More performance metrics related to sales than quality of work. - No forewarning related to major HR policy changes. Effective date is normally the day or month you receive any notice which doesn’t engender discussion for the people affected. - Lack of consistent expectations ailing partners and management. - Infrequent bonuses and promotions with extending obligations. Payment of bonuses and lump sum pay increases contingent on the employee staying for 3 - 4 months after announcement. - Little to no notice when traveling out of town for work. - Clique based office culture - Weak IT Infastructure which is highly dependent on internet access.
