Pros
I've worked for BECO for 2 years now. Being in the work force for 20 years, this is the first company I've worked for that truly values their employees. I don't mean just random thank you emails, I mean understanding that there shouldn't be a need for work/life balance but more that we are people and we have lives outside of work and our families will always be our first priority and they support that. You're sick? The response is always "not a problem! Get some rest and let us know if you need anything". Kid is sick and you need to stay home? "Oh no! I hope they feel better soon, let us know if you need an extra day if the fever doesn't break". Need to take your kid to speech therapy each week? "Not a problem, we will figure it out!" THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR PEOPLE. When you treat your team like people and not just a work horse, you'll get loyalty and a teammate that pours back into your company and has passion for the company and their job! BECO has it figured out for sure. I'm so proud to have found my job at BECO and am excited to see what the future holds.
Cons
None that I can think of. Maybe more paid holidays to match bank holidays. Any cons I've communicated to upper management, they've actively worked to overcome.
